UNIDO PMU in cooperation with the Ministry of Trade and Industry in the week 5-9 February 2023, steered multiple visits at manufacturing enterprises including Marib International Garments Co. located in Obour city’s industrial zone, Eagle Chemicals which is one of the major manufacturing enterprises specialized in production of resins, polymers and chemicals, and El-Zenouki Group which has grown to be a leading manufacturing corporation specialized in the cookware products. The visits aimed to present energy saving opportunities and how the enterprises can enhance and optimize the motor systems and the compressed air systems through the reports that were generated and prepared by local energy experts accredited by UNIDO. The experts managed to present and discuss with those factories’ management how they can amplify their energy efficiency through solutions that commensurate with each enterprise.
