The Industrial Motors Energy Efficiency Programme’s main beneficiary, the Egyptian industrial sector, receives support through numerous methods comprising of capacity building for managerial and technical staff, implementing energy efficient upgrades to Electric Motor Driven Systems (EMDS), technical assistance for technology demonstration and upscaling including; motor efficiency audits, technical and business advisory services for motor upgrade projects development, system optimization for EMDS implemented and EE motors installed,  and providing support for developing the Energy Service Companies’ (ESCO) market with a specific focus on EMDS optimization & motor upgrades .
