UNIDO in cooperation with the Ministry of Trade and Industry through “The Egyptian Programme for Promoting Industrial Motor Efficiency” kicked off a workshop on the 30th of March aiming to enhance business linkages and networking in the Electric Motors’ Market including connections among the motors manufacturers and exporters, government sector representatives, local and international funding enterprises. The business linkage event aimed to nurture collaborations amongst the diverse stakeholders attending as saving opportunities of energy efficient motor systems and available funding resources were exhibited to help bridge gaps in the motors market and amplify the benefits in the industrial sector. The saving opportunities that were presented included no and minimal costs.
