Representatives from UNIDO visited the “Siemens Energy Egypt Service Center – Egyptian German Technical Academy (EGTA)” premises in the new Suez Canal Economic Zone at El-Ein El-Sokhna to investigate potential collaboration on the 10th of March. EGT Academy, is a joint Siemens-GIZ Occupational Academy that offers comprehensive market-oriented learning in accordance to global standards. This is conducted with an aim that goes beyond business feasibility and affordability, the Academy effectively bridges the gap for future talent pools of qualified technicians and engineers, enabling them to drive economic prosperity through sound technical practice in Egypt. The modern training facility offers certified training in the Energy and Industry sectors, as well as other cross-cutting technical domains covering a vast range of individual and enterprise training needs. These domains include; Renewable Energy & Digitalization, Power Generation, Transmission and Distribution, Turbo-Machinery & Reciprocating Engines.
