The Egyptian Program for Promoting Industrial Motor Efficiency conduct a “Pump System Optimization” for two groups starting the 19th of September till the 22nd of September. A total of 108 individual consultants and energy experts affiliated to diverse manufacturing industries attended the 4-days course which provided introductory guidance on “Pump System Optimization” which is a systematic approach to evaluate high energy consuming pumps and identify energy savings opportunities. The training was delivered by UNIDO’s International consultants Engineer Siraj Williams and Engineer Albert Williams who tackled numerous topics including the systems approach, pumps types, pump system energy use, pump system fluid relationship, valve tool and “American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) Standards etc.
