Within the framework of the “Egyptian Programme for Promoting Industrial Motor Efficiency” which is implemented by UNIDO and funded by Global Environment Facility (GEF) in close collaboration with the Ministry of Trade and Industry, a fifth webinar aiming to raise awareness about the vitality of energy-efficient motors in the industrial sector and pinpoint potential saving opportunities in industrial motor driven systems while knowing their economic and technical feasibility aspects, was conducted on the 1^st of December 2021. The webinar was comprised of 98 suppliers, energy consultants and Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the industrial sector. The attendees had the opportunity of knowing the motor’s market landscape and its size to assess the financial feasibility of investing in EE motors. The webinar also delivered a descriptive explanation of the Minister of Trade and Industry’s decree # 463/2020 that encourages the Egyptian industrial sector to use energy-efficient motors. To conclude the webinar an elaborative explanation of how manufacturing industries may register to join the project’s  activities, was provided as well as a clarification of where the participants may find educational publications to boost their awareness.
